Young Lambs Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

The spring is coming by a many signsA
The trays are up the hedges broken downB
That fenced the haystack and the remnant shinesA
Like some old antique fragment weathered brownB
And where suns peep in every sheltered placeC
The little early buttercups unfoldD
A glittering star or two till many traceC
The edges of the blackthorn clumps in goldD
And then a little lamb bolts up behindE
The hill and wags his tail to meet the yoeF
And then another sheltered from the windE
Lies all his length as dead and lets me goF
Close bye and never stirs but baking liesG
With legs stretched out as though he could not riseG
