Wood Rides Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFGHIJKJK

Who hath not felt the influence that so calmsA
The weary mind in summers sultry hoursB
When wandering thickest woods beneath the armsC
Of ancient oaks and brushing nameless flowersB
That verge the little ride who hath not madeD
A minutes waste of time and sat him downE
Upon a pleasant swell to gaze awhileF
On crowding ferns bluebells and hazel leavesG
And showers of lady smocks so called by toilH
When boys sprote gathering sit on stulps and weaveI
Garlands while barkmen pill the fallen treeJ
Then mid the green variety to startK
Who hath not met that mood from turmoil freeJ
And felt a placid joy refreshed at heartK
