To Isabel Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDED BFBGHIJI KCLEMNMN

Arise my Isabel ariseA
The sun shoots forth his early rayB
The hue of love is in the skiesA
The birds are singing come awayB
O come my Isabella comeC
With inky tendrils hanging lowD
Thy cheeks like roses just in bloomE
That in the healthy Summer glowD
-
That eye it turns the world awayB
From wanton sport and recklessnessF
That eye beams with a cheerful rayB
And smiles propitiously to blessG
O come my Isabella dearH
O come and fill these longing armsI
Come let me see thy beauty hereJ
And bend in worship o'er thy charmsI
-
O come my Isabella loveK
My dearest Isabella comeC
Thy heart's affection let me proveL
And kiss thy beauty in its bloomE
My Isabella young and fairM
Thou darling of my home and heartN
Come love my bosom's truth to shareM
And of its being form a partN
