To An Early Cowslip. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCECCCCAFAF

Cowslip bud so early peepingA
Warm'd by April's hazard hoursB
O'er thy head though sunshine's creepingA
Close the threatening tempest lowersB
Trembling blossom let me bear theeC
To a better safer homeD
Though a fairer blossom wear theeC
Never tempest there shall comeE
Mary's bonny breast to charm theeC
Bosom soft as down can beC
Eyes like any suns to warm theeC
And scores of sweets unknown to meC
Ah for joys thou'lt there be meetingA
In a station so divineF
I could wish what's vain repeatingA
Cowslip bud thy life were mineF
