To An Early Butterly. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAACDCEFGHG

Thrice welcome here again thou flutt'ring thingA
That gaily seek'st about the opening flowerB
And opest and shutt'st thy gaudy spangled wingA
Upon its bosom in the sunny hourB
Fond grateful thoughts from thy appearance springA
To see thee Fly warm me once more to singA
His universal care who hapt thee downC
And did thy winter dwelling please to giveD
That Being's smiles on me dampt winter's frownC
And snatch'd me from the storm and bade me liveE
And now again the welcome season's comeF
'Tis thine and mine in nature's grateful prideG
To thank that God who snatch'd us from the tombH
And stood our prop when all gave way besideG
