The Beanfield Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBCBDD

A beanfield full in blossom smells as sweetA
As Araby or groves of orange flowersB
Black eyed and white and feathered to one's feetA
How sweet they smell in morning's dewy hoursB
When seething night is left upon the flowersB
And when morn's sun shines brightly o'er the fieldC
The bean bloom glitters in the gems of showersB
And sweet the fragrance which the union yieldsD
To battered footpaths crossing o'er the fieldsD
