Summer Winds Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCBCB DEDEFGFG HGHGGIGJ

The wind waves oer the meadows greenA
And shakes my own wild flowersB
And shifts about the moving sceneA
Like the life of summer hoursB
The little bents with reedy headC
The scarce seen shapes of flowersB
All kink about like skeins of threadC
In these wind shaken hoursB
-
All stir and strife and life and bustleD
In everything around one seesE
The rushes whistle sedges rustleD
The grass is buzzing round like beesE
The butterflies are tossed aboutF
Like skiffs upon a stormy seaG
The bees are lost amid the routF
And drop in their perplexityG
-
Wilt thou be mine thou bonny lassH
Thy drapery floats so gracefullyG
We'll walk along the meadow grassH
We'll stand beneath the willow treeG
We'll mark the little reeling beeG
Along the grassy ocean roveI
Tossed like a little boat at seaG
And interchange our vows of loveJ
