Poets Love Nature--a Fragment Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDBDE FGHII

Poets love Nature and themselves are loveA
Though scorn of fools and mock of idle prideB
The vile in nature worthless deeds approveC
They court the vile and spurn all good besideB
Poets love Nature like the calm of HeavenD
Like Heaven's own love her gifts spread far and wideB
In all her works there are no signs of leavenD
E
-
Her flowersF
They are her very Scriptures upon earthG
And teach us simple mirth where'er we goH
Even in prison they can solace meI
For where they bloom God is and I am freeI
