Night Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBBDEDDFDFGG

Night spreads upon the plain her ebon pallA
Day seems unable to wash out the stainB
A pausing truce kind nature gives to allC
And fairy nations now have leave to reignB
So may conjecturing Fancy think and feignB
Doubtless in tiny legions now unseenD
They venture from their dwellings once againE
From keck stalk cavity or hollow beanD
Or perfum'd bosom of pea flower betweenD
They to the dark green rings now haste to meetF
To dance or pay some homage to their queenD
Or journey on some pilgrim friend to greetF
With rushy switch they urge some beetle's flightG
And ride to revel ere 'tis morning lightG
