Nature's Hymn To The Deity Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD EFFG FF AAHHGFII

All nature owns with one accordA
The great and universal LordA
The sun proclaims him through the dayB
The moon when daylight drops awayB
The very darkness smiles to wearC
The stars that show us God is thereC
On moonlight seas soft gleams the skyD
And 'God is with us' waves replyD
-
Winds breathe from God's abode 'we come '-
Storms louder own God is their homeE
And thunder yet with louder callF
Sounds 'God is mightiest over all'F
Till earth right loath the proof to missG
Echoes triumphantly 'He is '-
And air and ocean makes replyF
God reigns on earth in air and skyF
-
All nature owns with one accordA
The great and universal LordA
Insect and bird and tree and flowerH
The witnesses of every hourH
Are pregnant with his prophesyG
And 'God is with us' all replyF
The first link in the mighty planI
Is still and all upbraideth manI
