Nature Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABBBCBDCEFEF| O simple Nature how I do delight | A |
| To pause upon thy trifles foolish things | B |
| As some would call them On the summer night | A |
| Tracing the lane path where the dog rose hings | B |
| With dew drops seeth'd while chick'ring cricket sings | B |
| My eye can't help but glance upon its leaves | B |
| Where love's warm beauty steals her sweetest blush | C |
| When soft the while the Even silent heaves | B |
| Her pausing breath just trembling thro' the bush | D |
| And then again dies calm and all is hush | C |
| O how I feel just as I pluck the flower | E |
| And stick it to my breast words can't reveal | F |
| But there are souls that in this lovely hour | E |
| Know all I mean and feel whate'er I feel | F |
