Clock-a-clay Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCC BBDDAA EAAACC FFGHCC

In the cowslip pips I lieA
Hidden from the buzzing flyA
While green grass beneath me liesB
Pearled with dew like fishes' eyesB
Here I lie a clock a clayC
Waiting for the time of dayC
-
While the forest quakes surpriseB
And the wild wind sobs and sighsB
My home rocks as like to fallD
On its pillar green and tallD
When the pattering rain drives byA
Clock a clay keeps warm and dryA
-
Day by day and night by nightE
All the week I hide from sighA
In the cowslip pips I lieA
In rain and dew still warm and dryA
Day and night and night and dayC
Red black spotted clock a clayC
-
My home shakes in wind and showersF
Pale green pillar topped with flowersF
Bending at the wild wind's breathG
Till I touch the grass beneathH
Here I live lone clock a clayC
Watching for the time of dayC
