Ballad. "winter's Gone, The Summer Breezes" Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEF FFFFGEHEF FIFJAEKEF LMLMNENEF

Winter's gone the summer breezesA
Breathe the shepherd's joys againB
Village scene no longer pleasesA
Pleasures meet upon the plainC
Snows are fled that hung the bowersD
Buds to blossoms softly stealE
Winter's rudeness melts in flowersD
Charmer leave thy spinning wheelE
And tend the sheep with meF
-
Careless here shall pleasures lull theeF
From domestic troubles freeF
Rushes for thy couch I'll pull theeF
In the shade thy seat shall beF
All the flower buds will I getG
Spring's first sunbeams do unsealE
Primrose cowslip violetH
Charmer leave thy spinning wheelE
And tend the sheep with meF
-
Cast away thy twilly willyF
Winter's warm protecting gownI
Storms no longer blow to chill theeF
Come with mantle loosely thrownJ
Garments light as gale's embracesA
That thy lovely shape revealE
Put thou on thy airy dressesK
Charmer leave thy spinning wheelE
And tend the sheep with meF
-
Sweet to sit where brooks are flowingL
Pleasant spreads the gentle heatM
On the green's lap thyme is growingL
Every molehill forms a seatM
Fear not suns 'cause thou'rt so fairN
In the thorn bower we'll concealE
Ne'er a sunbeam pierces thereN
Charmer leave thy spinning wheelE
And tend the sheep with meF
