A Look At The Heavens Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCBCCDCDEFGFHH

O who can witness with a careless eyeA
The countless lamps that light an evening skyA
And not be struck with wonder at the sightB
To think what mighty Power must there aboundC
That burns each spangle with a steady lightB
And guides each hanging world its rolling roundC
What multitudes my misty eye have foundC
The countless numbers speak a DeityD
In numbers numberless the skies are crown'dC
And still they're nothing which my sight can seeD
When science searching through her aiding glassE
In seeming blanks to me can millions traceF
While millions more that every heart impressG
Still brighten up throughout eternal spaceF
O Power Almighty whence these beings shineH
All wisdom's lost in comprehending thineH
