I’ve bowed in mosques, knelt in churches, prostrated in temples, Lord where are you
I cry silently at night, weeping in willows, sobbing with tears rolling down my pillow, Lord where are you
My heart aches amidst laughter. In talk my mind wanders far away seeking the unknown, Lord where are you
I feel pain in the suffering of others. I sense sorrow in the grief of the grieving, if only I can part a part of myself to lessen this torment, Lord where are you
I feel joy in the birth of the born, relief in the cure of the ill, happiness in your greatness, knowing this is your doing. Thank You Lord
