A night with the devil I had
On a Friday night at the club, what a fiery night it was

The devil asked me in the morning, the day has finally come after all the work we’ve done this whole week isn’t cause enough for celebration

Come on lets hit the clocks to the hour of five, get on the blazer and boots topped up with a cap

No time for tea time today, a few phone calls, we’re on our way

The entry was light, but on the hours the rise was high, had a couple of refreshers than came the bloody mary wiped off with a double whisky

Well the mood was getting on, with the music streaming from the blues to the beats, the feet could not hold their ground, with a rose in hand every move practiced came through naturally until the early wee hours of the following day

After that we headed home to a good morning’s sleep all the hours to midday.

On waking up the devil was hammering away in my head all the nails of the previous night. What a night it was
