Wake Up O’ dear one, wake up
Hit me, hit me
Why do you lie still and silent for I have waited so long.
Is this how our journey has ended,
Parting after all those miles we have walked,
Vows taken of togetherness now no more.
My purpose lay in wait for the day that I shall join you in the hereafter.
