Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDE FGHFI JKLMMNO PQRSTUUVE WXYV

Meet me in the middleA
With an open mindB
Set aside differencesC
We're the same kindB
Names are just titlesD
we are all human beingsE
-
Discrimination is the daily breadF
Colour doesn't have to take away compassionG
Sympathy is far fetchedH
With many not having roof over their headF
No one is lending a helping handI
-
Violence is our daily newsJ
Women are the victimsK
Everyday they live in fearL
Not knowing when it's going to come to themM
The very same people meant to protect themM
Have become predators after their peaceN
Women are also humansO
-
Tears no longer touch the heartP
Greed has taken that crownQ
People starve while others are filling their pocketsR
They are being used as pawnsS
Enriching those already richT
The rich gets richerU
The poor gets poorerU
We are all the sameV
we are human beingsE
-
How do you sleep knowing someone didn't eatW
The pain you get when hungryX
is no different to that person you didn't helpY
We are all the sameV
