There is many a wild bravado | B |
Who oft indulge in lawless vice | C |
And there are pearls of great price | C |

To find pure gems in the miner | E |

Far from their home two children stray | F |

On the third day the searchers hark | L |
For sounds and they hear Rover's bark | L |
Joyous that boys were alive | M |
And that though feeble they survive | M |

Miners they left their silver ore | D |
And for more precious pearls explore | D |
And when the children they discover | E |
'Tis unbounded then their pleasure | E |

Had stripped his coat to keep the cold | G |
From little brother three years old | G |
A worthy deed should be extolled | G |

And weak with hunger and fatigue | N |
Each clung upon a miner's back | O |
