Having received a letter from a gentleman done with a type writerA
and glorying in its superiority to the pen we replied as followsB
-
You glory in your type writerA
And its virtues you rehearseC
But we prefer the old inditerA
Moves two forty prose and verseC
-
And let each man work his willD
But never never do abuseE
The ancient and glorious quilD
From the wing of a noble gooseE
