Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHAIJKLMLGNOCJ PQRSPTGUGGVWBehind my smiles I see the pain sorrows weakness fears anger that lies within | A |
I'm good and pure but I became a beast | B |
Not out of choice but due to the experiences of life | C |
I'm an encyclopedia of mistakes | D |
They made me who I am today | E |
I've got a mouth willing to speak | F |
But no ear willing to listen | G |
The burden I carry is more than a cross | H |
It's an Ankh it feels like the hulk within | A |
Yet in my rage I'm a dove at heart | I |
My anger swims in my river of calmness | J |
I scream at the top of my voice | K |
I scream so loud that my lungs fails me | L |
I scream for help but I can see only deaf ears and blind eyes | M |
So I wallow in my misery | L |
Fighting my battles as a lion | G |
For the war within is my greatest war | N |
A war against myself fears anxieties traumas doubts | O |
It's been the longest walk of my life | C |
The tunnel seems endless | J |
Though I see the light at the end | P |
All dogs on the road are barking | Q |
But I throw no stone | R |
I keep my eyes on the goal | S |
I keep running knowing I'll have a lot of time to rest when I reach the end | P |
Then all my frenemies would gather to feed their ego | T |
My family and friends would be heart broken | G |
As time goes on they'll heal | U |
And I'll be like a gone season | G |
Lost and forgotten | G |
Only to be remembered in the hearts of few | V |
For at the end our journey always ends | W |
