Tanker Driver Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD CECE FGFG A

Ever seen one devoted to his callingA
Like that of a tanker driverB
Call him at noon or in the morningA
He is always there to deliverB
-
However rickety his vehicle may beC
And the rough terrain he maneuversD
All these he does for a small feeC
And his tanker moves away in quiversD
-
Have you noticed they are always elderlyC
Long years of watery services tenderedE
They wake up each day so earlyC
To be sure our water needs are renderedE
-
When next you see him a smile will doF
He helps the state and earns no pensionG
Small tips he gets from me and youF
Can get him a retirement small mansionG
