Tanker Driver

Ever seen one devoted to his calling
Like that of a tanker driver
Call him at noon or in the morning
He is always there to deliver

However rickety his vehicle may be
And the rough terrain he maneuvers
All these he does for a small fee
And his tanker moves away in quivers

Have you noticed they are always elderly
Long years of watery services tendered
They wake up each day so early
To be sure our water needs are rendered

When next you see him a smile will do
He helps the state and earns no pension
Small tips he gets from me and you
Can get him a retirement small mansion
