| Water pots balanced with youthful confidence | H |
| While the blazing afternoon sun watched over our little adventures | I |
| And quirky birds lent their choruses from the friendly skies | J |

| Then to Nneghalu's backyard we marched | A |
| Each with an axe in hand | A |
| A basin brimming with ripe ukwa upon the head | A |
| Gathering firewood that would become | K |
| The warmth of our family meals | L |

| Those were the lessons that built our strength beyond burdens | M |
| The rhythm that shaped our character | N |
| The memories that time can never erase | O |

| Among the girls who still remain | P |
| Nwanyimma will surely remember | N |
| Chinwe and Okuata were still too young | G |
| To walk those paths with us | Q |
| Except for the familiar journeys to fetch water | N |
