Blossom-time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBCAB DEBEBDE FGBGBHG EGGGGEG IJBJBIJ

Yes it is drawing nighA
The time of blossomingB
The waiting heart beats strongerC
With every breath of SpringB
The days are growing longerC
While happy hours go byA
As if on zephyr wingB
-
A wealth of mellow lightD
Reflected from the skiesE
The hill and vale is floodingB
Still in their leafless guiseE
The Jacqueminots are buddingB
Creating new delightD
By promise of surpriseE
-
The air is redolentF
As ocean breezes areG
From spicy islands blowingB
Or groves of MalabarG
Where sandal wood is growingB
Or sweet diffusive scentH
From fragrant attar jarG
-
Just so is lovelinessE
Renewed from year to yearG
And thus emotions tenderG
Born of the atmosphereG
Of bloom and vernal splendorG
That words cannot expressE
Make Spring forever dearG
-
Can mortal man beholdI
So beautiful a sceneJ
Without the innate feelingB
That thus like dying sheenJ
The sunset hues revealingB
Glints pure celestial goldI
On fields of living greenJ
