The Certainty Of Uncertainty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGHIJBK LMJNBOPQ RSTBULVJ

We spend our days chasing answersA
Like thirsty men in a riverB
Dying not from lackC
But from the confusion of abundanceD
-
The child longs to be a manE
The man wishes to be a child againF
Time laughs in a languageG
None of us ever fully learnH
We build walls to feel safeI
Then windows to feel freeJ
Only to discoverB
That both are prisons of different shapesK
-
The wise man speaks of knowingL
Yet sleeps with questions under his pillowM
While the fool shouts certaintyJ
From the rooftop of borrowed thoughtsN
We run from pain like fireB
Yet it is pain that forges our namesO
We pray for easy pathsP
But worship the stories born from stormsQ
-
Even loveR
That gentle tyrantS
Gives with one handT
And quietly takes with the otherB
And in the endU
After all our running building namingL
We arrive at a place we never leftV
Calling it discoveryJ

Poet's note: Looking at the irony life places before us and how we keep blind eyes to them. The certainty of uncertainty is an eye opener and a reminder that life itself is an irony. It's reflects on life's quiet contradictions, suggesting that uncertainty is not a flaw in existence but it's must dependable truth.
