2025 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCD EEFFGG HHII JJKKLL MMNNOO PPQRSS TU

Oh child of the cosmic loomA
you step from time s wombA
Carrying the weight of hopes unspokenB
A year unformed a promise unbrokenB
Let me whisper to you oh infant divineC
Take record of my struggle my climbD
-
Mark the days I ve battled the tideE
And make your hours a place to abideE
Let your winds carry no storms to my doorF
Instead bring whispers of love and moreF
Moments where laughter reigns and bindsG
And shadows dissolve in the light of kind mindsG
-
Do not race ahead reckless and wildH
Nor lag behind stubborn as a childH
Let time flow with grace steady and trueI
And grant me a pace that sees dreams throughI
-
Keep your clock in harmony s handJ
Unwind the knots only wisdom can standJ
Bend your moments to favor the boldK
Yet cradle the weary in nights of goldK
I charge you year with wars yet to fightL
To wrestle with chaos and birth new lightL
-
Raise banners of peace in tempestuous skiesM
And let justice bloom where its seed liesM
Become the arbiter of hope renewedN
A sovereign where fairness is imbuedN
May your seconds pulse with purpose profoundO
Each heartbeat a note in eternity s soundO
-
take heed of my pleaP
Leave no one forgotten not even meP
Unravel despair bind joy to our namesQ
Make victories humble and failures tameR
You a vessel of infinite chanceS
A temporal waltz a celestial danceS
-
Guide me gently or push me to striveT
But never oh never leave us behindU
