O I admire and sorrow The heart's eye grievesA
Discovering you dark tramplers tyrant yearsB
A juice rides rich through bluebells in vine leavesA
And beauty's dearest veriest vein is tearsC

Happy the father mother of these Too fastD
Not that but thus far all with frailty blestE
In one fair fall but for time's aftercastE
Creatures all heft hope hazard interestE
-
And are they thus The fine the fingering beamsF
Their young delightful hour do feature downG
That fleeted else like day dissolv d dreamsF
Or ringlet race on burling Barrow brownG
-
She leans on him with such contentment fondE
As well the sister sits would well the wifeH
His looks the soul's own letters see beyondE
Gaze on and fall directly forth on lifeH
-
But ah bright forelock cluster that you areI
Of favoured make and mind and health and youthJ
Where lies your landmark seamark or soul's starI
There's none but truth can stead you Christ is truthJ
-
There's none but good can b good both for youK
And what sways with you maybe this sweet maidE
None good but God a warning wav d toK
One once that was found wanting when Good weighedE
-
Man lives that list that leaning in the willL
No wisdom can forecast by gauge or guessM
The selfless self of self most strange most stillL
Fast furled and all foredrawn to No or YesM
-
Your feast of that most in you earnest eyeN
May but call on your banes to more carouseO
Worst will the best What worm was here we cryN
To have havoc pocked so see the hung heavenward boughsO
-
Enough corruption was the world's first woeP
What need I strain my heart beyond my kenQ
O but I bear my burning witness thoughP
Against the wild and wanton work of menQ
