I Wake And Feel The Fell Of Dark Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBA CCDCCD

I wake and feel the fell of dark not dayA
What hours O what black hours we have spentB
This night what sights you heart saw ways you wentB
And more must in yet longer light's delayA
With witness I speak this But where I sayA
Hours I mean years mean life And my lamentB
Is cries countless cries like dead letters sentB
To dearest him that lives alas awayA
-
I am gall I am heartburn God's most deep decreeC
Bitter would have me taste my taste was meC
Bones built in me flesh filled blood brimmed the curseD
Selfyeast of spirit a dull dough sours I seeC
The lost are like this and their scourge to beC
As I am mine their sweating selves but worseD
