In A Churchyard Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDEDEE| There may be seeming calm above but no | A |
| There is a pulse below which ceases not | B |
| A subterranean working fiery hot | B |
| Deep in the million hearted bosom though | A |
| Earthquakes unlock not the prodigious show | A |
| Of elemental conflict and this spot | B |
| Nurses most quiet bones which lie and rot | B |
| And here the humblest weeds take root and grow | A |
| There is a calm upon the mighty sea | C |
| Yet are its depths alive and full of being | D |
| Enormous bulks that move unwieldily | E |
| Yet pore we on it they are past our seeing | D |
| From the deep sea weed fields though wide and ample | E |
| Comes there no rushing sound these do not trample | E |
