The Shadow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B C C D E F C D G

Since I sat in the garden this morningA
-
The trees stood abloom in blueB
-
Full of thrush calls and trillsC
-
I saw my shadow in the grassC
-
Immensely distorted a fantastical animalD
-
That lay before me like a bad dreamE
-
And I left and trembled very muchF
-
Meanwhile a fountain sang in the bluenessC
-
And a bud leapt purpleD
-
And the animal went alongsideG
