Age Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B C D E F B G H I B E

An animal face in the brown greenA
-
Glows shyly to me the bushes smolderB
-
Very far away an old fountain singsC
-
With children's voices I listen thereD
-
The wild jackdaws mock meE
-
And all around the birches veil themselvesF
-
I stand silent before a weed fireB
-
And softly pictures paint themselves on itG
-
An ancient fairytale of love on golden groundH
-
The clouds spread their silence on the hillI
-
From the ghostly pond mirrorB
-
Fruits beckon shining and heavyE
