ll you be awake?
When the stranger knocks
The stranger knocks your door
It be daytime
It be midnight
Answer me please
Will you be awake?
When your voice is low
Your body so cold
That no breath therein
Grief fills your home
Friends cry loud
They stare at you
A stranger you be
Will you be awake?
Where would you be?
When the thief comes
Your hope is gone
Your warmth is gone
Your story is over
Be lying on the floor
In the ground be your home
No friends with you
You alone
Not you with your soul
When Death Comes
