Rhyme Scheme: ABABCD BEBFG HIJKLB MNONBA

There is terror in the cityA
I can hear them cryingB
Listen and be steadyA
You will hear them mourningB
A disease has entered the streetsC
Yes with a terrific orderD
-
People are dyingB
Just like insectsE
Nobody is singingB
With the previous instinctsF
The ryhm has changedG
-
It is totally darkH
From all the cornersI
No light in the barrackJ
When the leader livesK
They have ruined it allL
That old buildingB
-
No hope is channeledM
For getting a redressN
Researchers are worriedO
There knowledge is a distressN
And seems wantingB
God kindly help the cityA
