Learn to obeyA
And all be okayA
If you can't you may break like a treeB
Trees have one sayA
They obey the pressureC
-
When the weather is calmD
They feel it warmE
They all relax ready to growF
But look at itG
During windy days they find it toughH
-
They swing to the sideI
Directed by the windJ
Both small and wideI
They do the sameK
Haven't heard one complain 'I'm older than them'K
-
What of manL
Be like a treeB
And if you doM
Let it be pineN
It is hard strong and dynamicO
-
Pine is wise better than someK
It can bend stand and smileP
But what of the rest They think of strengthQ
When wind shouts they remain stillR
It hits their stems and breaks like a rodS
