Just as the gallantry of Araba is made a disgrace to Iroko of a truthA
So shall I avenge my death and sufferings on their fruits down to their rootsB
They cared for me like a chicken but the next day they slaughtered me like a fowlC
My blood My blood When would thou cry for vengeance in fulfillment of my vowD
-
Life unto DeathE
Love and HatredF
Happiness turns into SorrowG
Peace and WarH
All is nothing but A THIN LINEI
-
My friend permit me in response to ask should your blood cry for vengeance or for peaceJ
Though you were stripped off of your fundamental human rightsK
All your fault being beclouded on election by cash and empty promises feeling like a PrinceL
Justify it Justify it Can two wrongs now make a rightM
-
Why won t my blood cry for vengeanceN
At elections they deceitfully loved me and via stomach infrastructure ended my hungerO
Getting the power I was bitterly stinged not minding if later I would be enraged in hot angerO
Tell them Tell them To reason now and act on my grievanceN
-
Life unto DeathE
Love and HatredF
Happiness turns into SorrowG
Peace and WarH
All is nothing but A THIN LINEI
-
Your grievance is also mine as seen in my poem Not a Country Not a HomeP
We all ought to be A Man from a Sperm with mutual sense of equalityQ
Truthfully your exit to the world beyond is not the end as your spirit do roamP
When of a truth When of a truth Would our government come to this realityQ
-
Resound it to them that where I am and where they are is nothing but a thin lineI
They say they are Giant of Africa while without conscience they dine and wineI
Conscience is dead Conscience is dead Like a fish trapped by the hookR
Just a thin line is life and death but I pray their names be not in the master s eternity bookR
-
Life unto DeathE
Love and HatredF
Happiness turns into SorrowG
Peace and WarH
All is nothing but A THIN LINEI
-
They once cheated death and say they escaped it by a thin line will they escape hellS
Making us pass through hell here on earth they took our love and gave us tribal hatredF
Economy is drained from unbroken cord to a thin line in the plenteous land of my kindredT
In your total support vanity upon vanity all is nothing but a thin line as I cry and yellS
-
Oh God of creation direct our noble causeU
Guide our leader s rightM
Help our youth the truth to knowG
In love and honesty to growG
And living just and trueV
Great lofty heights attainW
TO BUILD A NATION WHERE PEACE AND JUSTICE SHALL REIGNW
