Poet's note: The 2020 US election attracted world attention. In Nigeria some Nigerians took the reelection of President Donald Trump personal. There were vigils, prayers and rallies organized in support of Trump. However, Nigerians do not show the same interest in the election of their own leaders. The poem decries this attitude. It also discusses the attitude of President Trump towards his loss in the election.
