Seasons Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCDEFGH HIJKL MNOHBHLP

In the seasonA
Everything's dryB
The trees are dryB
And broken shedC
Their leaves and standD
Straight like they'd never bloomedE
Their hungry looking branchesF
Pointing to the skiesG
As if in supplication for rainH
-
But today I saw a frangipaniH
Blossoming with fresh leavesI
And pretty looking purple flowersJ
Arranged in a most beautiful mannerK
Like it had it had a source of water differentlyL
-
It set me thinkingM
Of the saying One man's meatN
Is another's poison One treesO
Season of dryness another's seasonH
Of blossom In life some cryB
Some celebrate To some it's a seasonH
Of woe to others it's a season of gloryL
That's why every dog has got its dayP

Poet's note: In life, things are not the same for everyone. Even Siamese twins have different destinies. "Seasons" discusses the differences in people even though they are in the same environment and at the same time. Invariably, the poet encourages the reader to be patient when situations aren't favourable.
