Pray Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGH HIJKALMNH LOKPQRSA

PrayA
A wise man once saidB
The devil remembers you notC
For when he doesD
All your protectionE
All your guardF
All your charmG
All your prayersH
-
All your incantationsH
Would come to nothingI
Like Job you would a pawnJ
In his devilish hands beK
Tossed about hither and thitherA
And nothing shall in your lifeL
Ever be as it shouldM
You'd take a mile forwardN
One thousand backwardsH
-
And not in this sweet lifeL
Would the slightest sense makeO
For you like a spectator beK
When you ought to take full chargeP
and centre stageQ
So pray my good friendR
Pray his eyes be blindedS
When he looks your wayA
