Like I'd wanted to drinkB

She said she'd not drink muchE
And I accepted to drink halfF
And when the bottle was half emptyG
She offered me the bottleD
And I took the restH
And enjoyed the loveI
Of a complete strangerJ

That's what humanity wasK
Meant to be sharing our livesL
Like the brothers and sistersM
We're with same progenitorsM
Not wild beasts tearingN
At each other with animalismO

Poet's note: I travelled with a lady in a bus who offered to share her drink with me in spite of the fact we were complete strangers. This set me thinking and made me think how this contrasts with the attitude of human beings in the world. Yet we claim to be from the same parents, Adam and Eve.
