A careless friend may kindle a strifeA
A cruel friend may wreck a lifeA
A bitter friend may hate instillB
A brutal friend may smite and killB

A loving friend may heal and blessD

In true friendshipE
We call it a tribeF
We call it a networkG
A clan and a familyH
Whatever we call itI

Poet's note: I wrote this poem to a girl who asked me to become her best and true friend. I wanted to express to her what a best and true friend do and doesn't do, and this was how I wrote it, but now this poem is dedicated to any one who has a friend, know what kind of friends you have.
