Rhyme Scheme: A BCDE FGHG IJKJ LMNM OPQK

A
-
I felt a Funeral in my BrainB
And Mourners to and froC
Kept treading treading till it seemedD
That Sense was breaking throughE
-
And when they all were seatedF
A Service like a DrumG
Kept beating beating till I thoughtH
My Mind was going numbG
-
And then I heard them lift a BoxI
And creak across my SoulJ
With those same Boots of Lead againK
Then Space began to tollJ
-
As all the Heavens were a BellL
And Being but an EarM
And I and Silence some strange RaceN
Wrecked solitary hereM
-
And then a Plank in Reason brokeO
And I dropped down and downP
And hit a World at every plungeQ
And Finished knowing thenK
