Regret Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABC DAEA AFAG HIJK LLMN

This is lovely but seems fearful to meA
Though I couldn't let that beA
This can either break or make a manB
Considering all its demandsC
-
Emotionally that seems preparedD
To become my soft remedyA
Seemingly green even when its redE
Keep making me realize I'm somebodyA
-
I'm already loosed grievouslyA
Skillfully in strategiesF
Imagining it better ends hopefullyA
Feeling blue flying in many skiesG
-
Hmm We can't mergeH
Otherwise you'll trespassI
With its dues so brutally largeJ
Beseeching me to cleave to my pastK
-
Oh I thought my fearL
Could become my dearL
I know the wheel is yoursM
I need some recovery hoursN

Effi David

Poet's note: It talks about the battle line between someone's fear and the later effects. However, trying to get used to your fear but to no avail says your fear; thereby, feeling a kind of regret.
