Let me take thee to the future,
Where dreams lay untapped,
In perfect cord of unsoiled world,
You're all that I want!
O' beauteous African girl,
To see thee in limbo, floods me with tears.
Let me walk thee out of solitary- where you sit like a forgotten angel in the night- of a wounded soul and jilted- like a soiled robe on the floor in shreds lay.
Sail with me thru' unwavering ocean tide,
Or shall Cupid ferry us thru':
For i was likewise a wounded soul and my wings chiseled out- but to rise again in an eagle's strength, love with jealousy
Shall you hold my hands thru' mountains high,
Above the flooded world
Or in my heart to make a hamlet where you shall reign with scepter.
Let me be all the world where hate and tears neither visits
Hark my heart beat in echoes of your name, calling to love till ages come.
I'm all the flute in a pine garden,
Shall I sing you a lilt of euphonious cord,
To see thee in your beauty again,
And peace to bring in my warmest embrace.
To love thee in endless passion.
