| There's a hole in my heart gaping wide | C |
| An emptiness that no light can fill | D |
| No good food to eat nowhere to hide | C |
| Just a hunger that time cannot kill | D |

| And in my stomach another gap | E |
| Aching with the echoes of starvation | F |
| No sympathetic bows no mercy's tap | E |
| Just the cruel echoes of deprivation | F |

| From the very start a cold cruel world | G |
| Unyielding in its unrelenting strife | H |
| Every arrow flung every flag unfurled | G |
| Marks the harsh rhythm of this life | H |

| I toil a telepathic warrior strong | I |
| Sending back the poisonous arrows of fate | J |
| Turning Cupid's darts around righting the wrong | I |
| Breaking free from this unending hate | J |

| I strive to stand tall to keep my head low | K |
| To piece together the fragments of my soul | A |
| To mend the cracks to stem the sorrow's flow | K |
| To emerge once more complete and whole | A |

| But the hole within me grows ever vast | L |
| Fed by the hate that nobody wants | M |
| A gaping maw devouring love aghast | L |
| Unraveling my resolve taunting my vaunts | M |

| Yet still I fight the battles unseen | N |
| Each day a skirmish each night a war | O |
| Against the tide against the machine | N |
| Searching for the light forevermore | O |

| For in this world of shadows deep | P |
| In this tapestry of light and shade | Q |
| I seek the promises I meant to keep | P |
| I yearn for the solace of love's sweet glade | Q |

| So I shall march on relentless and bold | R |
| Against the darkness against the tide | C |
| With faith as my armor truth as my hold | R |
| In the face of despair I shall abide | C |

| And though the hole within me may grow | O |
| And though the struggles may never cease | M |
| I will nurture the seeds of hope I sow | M |
| For in that darkness there lies peace | M |

| The hole within me a wound to mend | S |
| A challenge to conquer a burden to bear | O |
| In its depths a message to send | S |
| Of resilience of strength of the spirit laid bare | O |

| A testament to the trials I face | M |
| For in the midst of darkness I shall defy | O |
