She dealt with me mercilessly
And turned a blind eye to my wounds
I suddenly had a low self-esteem
My vision blurred and hope crippled.

Now a prisoner without parole
She got me locked up for days
To the world, I had a lot to say
But my whole life, I've been alone.

She laughed at my helplessness
And dared me to call my friends
Knowing well that I was an introvert
Who never got along with the crowd.

Nevertheless, I held on to my faith
Regardless of the pain, rage and hate
My condolences to those who gave up;
Those victims of suicidal thoughts.
