Indigo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH AAIJK

There is a song in the airA
A drop in the voidB
A whisper among whispersC
echoes creep out of crevicesD
-
If deserts protect their chastityE
Parch every drop of sullageF
Men will creep out of each thirstG
Fetch lest they're shriveledH
-
When songs drag the air with airA
Ears shrink the savourA
But there is a tongue for every painI
To sit await their turnJ
Like time's folded palms loitering for its greaseK
