| Visions planned longer than a long night | E |
| Morning shows off burnt people burnt market burnt health burnt freedom burnt airport burnt rights and people's choice | F |
| If the morning is not clear | G |
| How will the afternoon and evening be | D |

| We clasp our hands and watch | H |
| Or our efforts as low as burnt candlelight | E |
| As the tree of our success die | I |
| While we can actually make it grow | J |

Poet's note: I wrote this poem, January 2020 for Nigeria, my country. I wrote it based on the situation of things in the Country then. In 2011, Nigeria made their vision 2020 planning for a better Nigeria. Our flag is green, white, green, making it green visions.
I was curious about the long expected 2020 that was why I wrote this poem for Nigeria.
