| Kill your ego correct your mistakes and let go | C |

| And be a neighbor to yourself not just to your pillow in the still of the night | D |
| Aim to be real authentic and true | E |
| Embracing your flaws and all that you do | E |
| Know that you're a work in progress evolving every day | F |
| So strive to be better in your own way | F |

| Be under amelioration run this life race | G |
| In your own possible pace | G |
| Be under amelioration to be made new | E |
| With smoothed edges and a heart renewed | H |
| For pain will subside for love to shine through | E |
| So believe that you'll ameliorate and be better than the former | I |
