Bondage Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AA BB CC DD EE FF GG HH II JJ KK IL

Is freedom truelly without chainsA
The question here still remainsA
-
What makes us truelly freeB
Amnesty for you and meB
-
Let's take the time to be reflectiveC
Putting life into perspectiveC
-
With wounds and pain still untoldD
We live our lives acting boldD
-
But within the torment doublesE
With stress anxiety and so many troublesE
-
Masks and pretense constantly appliedF
Hidding secrets we continually liedF
-
What is it all aboutG
Incarcerated whether in or outG
-
Healing comes by letting goH
No more need for all that showH
-
Use your hurts to testifyI
Helping others to rectifyI
-
The emptiness and the voidJ
Prevent their lives from being destroyedJ
-
From internal wounds remove the bandageK
No more living life in bondageK
-

Mature Tanko Okoduwa: I like the ring of this poem Bondage...the musicality that the couplets create.
